they are NOT safe to use, and can push outside contaminants into your vagina, encouraging infection. Just bathe regularly and you won't need a douche.

The OB/GYN doctors I have heard talk about this say that women should not douche unless one is prescribed by a doctor for a specific reason. They do more harm than good. They say that all a woman needs to keep the inside of her vagina clean is to soak in warm, soapy water.

Don't douche! it causes all sorts of problems and can cause awful imbalances. Your body is designed to be self cleansing. If you have an offensive odour (one that smells like rotten fish) or a strangely coloured discharge (green or very obviously yellow), these things are an infection that needs a doctor. Apart from that, the smells and discharge are natural, and shouldn't be washed away. They are just your body giving itself a "bath".

mi advice dont use it because the douche is made of something like vinegar tha's acid and for that you will be experience infections frecuently.

it's bad because it alters the body's natural pH protection against bacteria, and can also thus irritate the skin....
