I wasn't aware that anyone ever DID take him seriously.

I don't think he is taken seriously anymore , I for one used to like him but don't anymore. He's become a bit full of himself and has much difficulties explaining his belief in Scientology. I don't find him a good speaker on the subject and would be better off not discussing his views on it. I don't think he seems very appreciative of his fans and to me that kind of shows a lack of class on his part .To redeem his self he should not be so argumentative and defensive all the time . If he would just answer questions without losing his temper that would help or at least politely refuse to answer as he should have that option. From an outsider looking in I"m not sure this Scientology thing is working out well for him . Merely relying on his own common sense would serve him as well.

I think his reputation is almost too far gone to redeem himself....with his "off the wall" behavior and the arrogant way he has spoken to people (among them, Matt Lauer), he needs to publicly apologize and hope that people can perhaps blame his antics on either being totally in love or over the moon with excitement about baby Suri...then he needs to produce the two of them .... speaking of the moon, with all of their money, has the Church of Scientology bought a planet that we don't know about? What exactly has he done with his two little ladies...????

He was in my town a year and a half ago making that war of the worlds movie and everyone said he was nice and he put five grand into a donation can for a boy who had cancer. I think in some ways he is very right about meds for mental illness. Especially if they are giving meds and just keep you on them. I just think he should calm down a bit, but eventually he will be on top again.

He has gone past the point of no return. He is now in the joke category. Not much he can do to redeem himself.

i still like him...not as a person but as an actor...how can we like celebrities as any thing more when all we see of them is their acting abilities and what tabloids want us to see? they get on TV and give interviews sure but do you think that is who they really are? i don't i think its all for the public, us to keep us interested...i don't really think what happens in their private lives should count for their abilities to act ...i still think tom cruise is an excellent actor no matter what he does"off screen"..or on for that matter..lol

Do you seriously think he cares? He's got his Katey and his baby. He really has all he needs right now, so why does he feel the need to be taken seriously.
