Wow - it really is more suitable analyze than maximum will do on the concern. I applaud you to a particular degree. regrettably you probably did get some mis-techniques. the quantity that the U.S. has given to Israel that you're quoting is the completed over the past fifty 8 years. the quantity very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days is in basic terms over 2 billion - distinction. who's in charge - actual each and each facet - this has been occurring a techniques longer than all of this - the Intifada this previous decade - many different significant conflicts considering 1949. of route it should be correct lower back way beforehand this if one desires to record and proceed the blame pastime. the genuine question that ought to favor to be requested is what's the answer to the mid-east violence. the genuine answer is: an expert above the nationwide aspect ought to exert extreme rigidity on each and each facet as a impartial entity (say on the U.N. aspect) because the U.N. would not have this ability, the U.N. desires extreme reform and authentic ability to unravel international conflicts. till then, we can proceed in charge one yet another and kill one yet another into oblivion. REFORM THE UN

Lets see here. You preface the question as the answer you want ! The terrorist organization lives and operates out of Southern Lebanon. They attack Israel. Lebanon does nothing to prevent Hezbollah to live and operate its military wing. Hezbollah only wants to see Israel to leave the face of the earth. They have such a drive for this goal, even the their leader has his son, yes his son, to perform a suicide mission in Israel. An enemy hell bent on your destruction, will destroy you if you do nothing. I think you are unhappy w/ Israel's strategy, but couldn't be in disagreement as to their right to survival. This terrorist group was supposed to be disbanded by UN resolution. This another example of the UN's powerlessness. Israel had left the area of southern Lebanon as they were supposed to in 2000. They comply, their sworn enemy has no regard to their peaceful intentions. And here we are, Israel doing the job Lebanon or the UN should have done in 2000, disbanding this organization.

You bet your sweet bootie it's wrong and mini is so right about the U.S. backing them too but what would you expect an idiot like Bush to do other then backing murder and terrorism? Now if we had a "real" commander in chief who wanted peace maybe some of this sh*t wouldn't be happening all over the world but because of the idiot in the White house we are all involved in such hatred that every country wants nothing from us except to kill us all for his acts of murder and terrorism.
Now imagine what a wonderful world this would be if just one head of a country started the first steps towards peace and not war?
Someone somewhere has to be big enough to take those first steps towards peace to get the message across to the others and the hell with what Bush wants because we all want peace and not war.

The 2 soldiers were just the icing on the cake.
Hezbullah has been attacking Isreal for years, suicide bombers, rockets ect.
The U.N. told Lebanon to disarm and disband Hezbullah .
Lebanon couldn't do it, Hezbullah has turned S. Lebanon into a
fortified area. There are bunkers , tunnels , ammo dumps under those villages . The civilian populace was held as shields.
Isreal warned them and warned them , they chose not to listen .
Most of Hezbullah is not Lebanese , they are Syrian , Iranian , and others.

Absolutely. The media in the US are not reporting all this very objectively. I have the opportunity to watch the news in Germany and there this whole thing is portrayed a bit different. US vetoed any UN actions to stop Israel from invading Lebanon. Good going, US, we managed to turn another friend (Lebanon) into an enemy. Then we wonder why the US is the #1 target for terrorism, duh.....

you must understand that things are not as simple as you think they are
If Israel did not bring swift reprisal against such acts of aggression, when will the terrorists ever stop? they'll keep on kidnaping to further their own agenda
also Israel has all over these years been subject to anti semitsm and hate from people. it is thus natural that they value their israel citizen's life with utmost value and thus are willing to move hell and high water to retrieve their own
Hezbollah has only itself to blame for the hell that's being unleashed upon their rag heads
ISrael! Go forth and smite the rats where they cower

defending your country or countrymen is NOT WRONG!
Hezbollah started this and every liberal seems to forget it. Lebanon has let these extremists hide among civilian population.
Violating UN resolution 1559 by not dis-banding Hezbollah.
(Yet again proving the UN is worthless.)
The Israeli's are justified in this entire situation fighting a group who's charter reads : "That the total destruction of Israeli state is our committed goal".

Ever heard that one too many straws broke the wagon?
I don't have the answer, don't have all the facts, don't like killing.
I think the kidnappings may have been the "last straw".
The US has tolerated terrorist attacks for about 30 years.
I don't even think that 9/11 was the last straw, YET, for US.
We are still allowing more straws to be piled on our wagon.
When is enough, enough? We've yet to find out.

The problem here is the ego's of a bunch of men in Armani suits who wont suffer from any decisions they make.
