because it is gaming for points? If they don't actually answer your question, just say the are reporting your question as an abuse violation an try to get it removed, do you think it is fair that they get to get 2 points for that?

I have not had this happen to me personally, but have seen it quite a bit on questions that I have answered and was just curious what other people think.

I think it is a violation and gaming for points. You can always report them and let Yahoo decide from there.

I don't think it is fair that they get two points for saying REPORTED! I think that you could actually report them and choose the option that it violates because it isn't a question or an answer.

I'm not sure if they actually GET points though if a question is removed because I THINK all the points associated with that question are removed. Not positive on this point.

When I report a violation I will say reported for my answer to let other ppl know it's already been reported. I think if the question has been removed if it was in violation the the points you recieved should be deducted.

No I don't think that is fair however, if the question asked is actually in violation of the terms of Service then ofcourse they should get the points. I find it hard to believe that any question asked that was in violation would actually make it on Yahoo's site.

NO if someone reports a question they should not get any points on that question
on a side thought i believe people who report questions that are not breaking the rules .just because they don't like it should get the same penalty banned for a day or two . to much reporting goes on here

I think anyone who "reports" virtually anything is a cowardly crybaby who should be banned permanently. There are some exceptions when someone is seriously profeane, threatening or insulting to Christians, but for the most part, freedom of speech should be allowed to have any real forum of worthwhile activity. Otherwsie, you have cliques and clubs of mostly liberal morons, at least that has been my experience.

i like your thought and in my opinion might circulate to Your web site. yet.... "Quote" My thought is to easily answer a question with "this question has made the dumbest questions checklist!" and a link to the website as my source. "unquote" Answering a question with a NON answer IS against the community regulations and posting a link to a private OR agency web site that doesn't help in answering a question is seen unsolicited mail/merchandising. despite in case you gave a solid answer (to the stupid question requested) including that must be seen unsolicited mail/merchandising. Sorry to shoot your thought down. some human beings purchasers have even reported some thing like this in the communicate board for the Q&an internet site and function a "WALL OF shame" Board. (like the Leaderboard is now, in straightforward terms one with LOOSER Questions.) Mabye you ought to get in touch with somebody in the criminal branch at Yahoo and get a particular enable. you will possibly now no longer be in the activity amassing 2-factors to your answer yet you would be amune from being reported for the above violations. Eather way i might get in touch with the criminal dept at Yahoo in the previous attempting some thing like this. they have greater money than you and wont suggestions sending you a court docket be conscious in a coronary heart beat. basically attempting to maintain you out of difficulty and function you examine ALL bases beforing stepping into difficulty. :) (even nonetheless I nevertheless like your thought.)
