The god Enki, I think, would be a good choice. In Sumerian myths he drank beer often, got drunk once in a while(while creating new creatures in a contest), he's a fun god, yep. I think there was a Sumerian beer goddess too.

But that probably wouldn't be American "lite" beer ;)
If I recall correctly, Siduri was a Mesopotamian goddess of beer.
