It all depends on the essay. I would suggest the sandwich method for a 3 page one. Opening paragraph 3-5 support paragraphs with seperate proof, and a closing.
Opening should contain your thesis--the point you are trying to prove and a short explanation of how you can support it.
Each support paragraph should support that thesis with an independent idea. The point (and fill those with as much subpoints to prove your point).
Then you conclude by repeating the thesis.
I like to create the bones like this...
Thesis: Ice cream is America's favorite desert. (This can be seen by 1-5)
(Build paragraph on these ideas)
I. Long History of Ice Cream
II. All types of resturants serve it. (All income groups)
III. Home Use is Extremely high.
IV. People use ice cream to celebrate events. (Positive connotations)
V. Use of ice cream in popular culture overrides all other deserts(movies etc)
Conclusion: Hence Ice Cream is America's favorite desert
Then I elaborate on all those things and use my best language. Throw in a quote or two if I have appropriate ones.
Hope this helps.

here's a site that might help you - it gives 'rules' and examples on how to write different styles of essays, as well as a lot of other stuff.
if you're having trouble writing, you may want to practice the general 3-part essay -- (1) introduction with thesis (main idea), (2) support, and (3) conclusion.
Getting into the habit of doing this will strengthen the basic skills, and then when you feel comfortable that you've "mastered" that, you can expand -- break down your body into multiple sections, or going into more detail -- even just finding harder 'main ideas' to write about.
Once you're more comfortable with writing, you'll find you can "bend the rules" a lot - but generally, as long as your essay is strong, no one minds if you don't follow a rule precisely.
I think one of the most important things to do is make your essay flow from one thought to the next -- don't leave your thoughts dangling from one paragraph to another. Always find some way to gently introduce your next thought, and it will make the essay more readable. Think about it like this -- when you have a friend that you are showing around someplace new, you don't grab their arm and jerk them around, right? Instead, you gently guide them from room to room, pointing out the things you like, and that you want to share with them.
Hope the site helps you get the "rules" down -- but just read and practice, and I think you'll be fine.

Be original first if all, writing a song is difficult and it takes time to write a good one.If you can play an instrument like guitar, keep it with you.You can learn to write music very easily.Keep working at it, you may want to change some lyrics later on hence the term "demo" once everything is to your liking. Its ready for recording! This applies to all types of music as well.

In my secondary school days (namely Form 3 in Hong Kong), I needed to read a thin story book and wrote a book report every 2 weeks. That helped my english a lot.

You need to read, read and read some more. Pick up things from good writers. Then write, get someone good at writing to check it, then write some more. That's the only way. It can't be done overnight.

Practice makes perfect.
Write and write until you got that good essay.
Select a good topic,
Summarize important issues about the topic, and
Make a good theme out of the topic by detailing the issues.
