the cooktop cleaner will not remove baked on particles. Here's your answer.Take an sos pad,and wet it throughly.Place over the stuck on part you want to remove.LIGHT PRESSURE will not scratch.Be sure the pad is very wet,and rub GENTLY in a circular motion.Your stove top is nothing more than glass.Be patient and keep applying gentle pressure and your baked on particles will be gone.I have had a cleaning business for 18 years, and most of my customers have these stove tops.It works every time.

* How to Remove a Stain Using Common Household Ingredients *
By following these steps, a stain can be removed in less than five minutes.

Steps
Mix together the following ingredients:
Rubbing alcohol
Vinegar
Hydrogen peroxide
Shake well and pour a small amount on the stain.
Let it sit for a while.
Dry it with a washcloth.
Rub the stain away.

Tips
Try not to let it sit too long, or peroxide may damage the stained area.

Warnings
Use these chemicals carefully. If there is contact with the eyes, this mixture may cause blindness. If eye or mouth contact occurs, rinse for about 3 to 5 minutes

I don't have a Glass cook top, but I do have Stainless Steel pans, they get tarnish, and stained- I use the Fine sandpaper used to Wet Sand the Final finish on an auto paint job. I also use this to remove Lime Rings in the Commode. It will not hurt anything.

first I gently scrape any burnt on material with a single edge razor blade, rub lemon on the stained area or pour a little lemon juice on the area let it sit for a few minutes. wipe off and repeat if stain persists.

soft scrub

or

soft scrub with bleach

scrub gently at first to make sure it doesn't scratch. Older models scratch easier as more of the finish seems worn off
