I am planning to buy a laptop for home use,which i plan to use to mail and surf the net,wanted to know which kind of laptop would be better for me,the one with intel celeron or the one with intel centrino?

I see you're talking about PCs (with Windows). I'd say the celeron because you're not going to be playing hi-res games or anything so you don't need the centrino.

IMO, Macs RULE! :)

Intel centrino is the best no doubt. Its relaible dependable and trust worthy.

celeron with 512 mb ram will do.
