I don't know if it is illegal, but I doubt that it would be admissible in court.

I do know that it is now legal in my state for one party to record the other without their knowledge, because the police missed out on prosecuting a lot of cases since their recordings were not admissible in court, as the other party was not aware of it. So they changed the law. But if the other party is a minor the law may be different. You should consult a lawyer to make sure it is legal in your state, especially in the case of minors. Sometimes the law treats them differently.

it is legal in the state of Ohio to record anything as long as one party knows about it went thru it already DA said that one person could be you I do not know about whether u could use this in a custody battle though i would check with the prosecuting attorny's office

it is usally illegal to record any conversation without the other party aware of the recording.............in your case the child depending on the age and relationship can be diposed on video by an attorney with the parents or judges permission
