The normal Tools - Internet Options method seems to have no effect.

I would like to switch to Google UK as Homepage but even blank or anything other than Yahoo would do!

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer on this one

Most of the time when you go to a different company (such as Google for example), there will be a little "link" that asks " Make Google Your Homepage". You would click on that and it should change.

simlpe open ur browser got to option TOOLs and type the URL u wanna to add as homwpage and click on use current if this will not get u then pls scann u system for virusor spyboot sometime they block ur home page details which cant be edited by the brower option or re-install ur browser

Download Mozzila FireFox -- their Tools works. Besides it is a far better browser than Internet Explorer.

from the top of your browser select "tools" --> "internet options"
finally type in the address you wish for your homepage and click "apply". voila!

hope u r using Internet explorer ....
there are few possibilities, you might not have administrative rights to change either on PC or just IE. u might have to reinstall IE again.
there r some virus that high-jack the IE, but i don't think that's the case here.
