Anything is possible!
Several years ago my nephew was hit by a car while he was walking across a very busy intersection. Cracked his skull.
He's fine today.
Hopefully you're friend will be OK, too.

It would depend on the type of injury and crack to the skull. If it is really a minor one, the person can not only survive but can also have a normal healthy life. I personally know of a distant relative of mine who had met with an accident causing her head injuries and a very minor crack at the back of the skull. She is perfectly fine, hale and hearty even after almost twenty years of the accident.

Yes but it depends on the severity of the injury and the speed of treatment. I was just listening to the actor Gary Busy on the radio last night who was in a motorcycle accident with no helmet. He said his skull was cracked from the temple to the crown of his head and had a hole punched out the size of a 50 cent piece. He is alive and fully recovered. It's not so much a skull injury that you'd have to worry about as much as if there is damage to the brain. Any damage to the brain is not repairable.

Yes he can survive as long as he did not puncture his brain.
I have had two accidents that the impact caused me to break my skull and I survived them both.
One was a 12 foot 4x4 that fell from a loft in a barn that I was working on and hit me and the next was from a bicycle accident when a tree root flattened the rim of the tire and I rebroke the old injury on impact.

Yes, he can. The skull is amazingly resilient. If he has survived any time at all and is consious, consider that all is going ot be well.
There may be some changes in personalty and ability to do school work.

People typically survive MINOR injuries, but with the head, only time will tell. I would only ask for a Doctors advice. You don't want to get yourself worried for nothing because someone on here gives you the wrong advice. Good luck to your friend, and yourself.
