Im irish 2 and my skin is so fair it doesnt even tan!! I think maybelline is the best the moose one its ivory is a good colour and it lasts well and you dont have to put on powder. The thing to remember is not to rub it in too much as this makes it cake and flake. As for mascara I am loving loreal extreme volume the double extension its worth it lol I sometimes only use the black side and still get great results. Good luck

The best foundation is Photogenic by Lancome. I've got light skin too, so it's hard to find one that covers those translucent areas and not look too dark. Test the color on the back of your hand, or on your face (if you go to the department store counter). Have a clerk try to match your best color (depending on what you want to cover/bring out). And, mascara? Hands down, it's L'Oreal Lash Out in Blackest Black. People ask me if my lashes are fake. Of course, you have to curl your lashes, and make sure you get the teddy bear brush. It makes all the difference!

L'Oreal True Match foundation, it has good coverage and a matte finish. The best mascara I've found is MAC Pro Lash, but L'Oreal Voluminous is a close second.

Bare Minerals is a great investment! And it won't ruin your skin. It can be complete or sheer coverage or just bronzer. (I have red hair, but I tan easily; I am fair if I do not go in the sun though.) The other one that is THE best and reasonable too is L'Oreal's Infallible. It comes in many many light and dark shades, stays put, and covers flawlessly. For mascara, try Lashout by L'Oreal, or one of their other mascaras. I do not work for them, LOL. I have tried EVERYTHING from cheap-cheap stuff to really high-end stuff. I just love makeup, that's all. If you want to check out the Bare Minerals (Bare Escentuals is another name for it), go to my source link. Have fun!!

For foundation, I suggest Everyday Minerals at everydayminerals.com. These are the purest mineral foundations that you can find in the market. Also, the company sends samples for free.

Re mascara, try Loreal Voluminous. It does both, lengthening and volume.

Dig down about a foot, put down a layer of hardcore (that's rubble, broken bricks, big stones), put in a rebar grid cut to size, and top off with concrete in a 3/1/1 mix of building sand/ballast/cement. Of course, if you're building on a softer surface, you'll need a deeper foundation, or you may get away with driving in some piles for increased stability. It really depends on the application.

The Maxfaxtor matt foundation is great (about £10) and also the new bristle mascara that was used in 'Memoirs of a Geisha'.

Wait for offers/sales in Boots ;)
