In California they are teaching only Spanish to children fro Mexico( in some schools, not the entire state yet)..but what Im wondering is why are they teaching them a language that is our countries language? They come to our country for the American dream and way of life but theywant to bring Mexico with them. We know that they do not know how to run a country( all we haveto do is look at Mexico), so why do we let them tell us how to do things to suit them? I think if you come here, you adapt to our ways and language or you fail. Why do liberals support giving away everything and killing our way of life?

Liberals will suck **** from anyone's *** if they think it will get them a vote, get someone other than Bush a vote, give them a discussion topic to bash conservatives with, or get a free coupon on a burrito at some joint run by illeagls which should be shut down by health inspectors.
Liberals don't care about anything beyond their mirrors, and please don't think they are capable of critical thinking. They might have memorized the rot liberal professors like that idiot in Colorado shove down their throats, but they do not THINK.

At least half of American children dont have any health or medical insurance, and you're b!tching about 'them damn im'grants' again. I wouldn't say that Mexican immigrants are "killing your way of life", but I do agree that it is just common courtesy to learn the language of a foreign country before going, especially if you're planning on spending the rest of your life there.

2) English isn't actually an 'official' or 'national' language; that is, no law defines it as such.
All that said, I agree with you that we should be requiring english to be taught and proficiency required to graduate.

I agree that English should be taught to immigrants, but they shouldn't have to adapt to our ways... just our laws.
And the right are the ones trying to kill our way of life by trying to strip away freedoms of speech and religion. Why is it that liberals who oppose the war are automatically unpatriotic?

One big reason is the teachers union (left wing). They have fought tooth and nail for bi-lingual education Why? Because the teachers get paid more. It has also been proven to not only be not effective but actually holds the child back. But so what? they get to make more money.

Hy Iam from Eastern Europe, I know some people who had imigrating to USA. so I have a clue about this issue.
The thing is that peoples go to US for the American dream but they can't leave so easy theis habbits and customs.
You couldn't do that yourself either.
