No, but there are things you could do to make her Internet visits safer if that's what you're worried about.
You are the parent; You're in charge! Too many kids get problems today cause their parents refuse to set limits.
Try always and communicate with her; it's important to respect someones privacy, but also know that lack of limits can cause a very unsafe situation. I don't think a responsible parent can always be seen as "a friend" in the kids eyes. If you will base your decisions on her respond, you're not really taking responsibility! Example when I was 13 I felt that my parents where just plain stupid for not letting me go to a party with some strange people that where many years older than me and in fact very drunk..I got really angry and gave them a hard time, but now it's obvious to me that their decision was right..

The only thing you're going to get out of that is completely betraying her trust.. I would be FURIOUS if my mum went into my account, it's SO private.
Plus, the things you read may be taken out of context... but it's none of your business anyway.
This makes me wonder why you're so insecure with your relationship with your daughter that you would result to sneaking into her account and prying... I think you guys really need to have a serious talk. If you're really having trouble with her opening up, then maybe you should go to a therapist, and work on your relationship.
Trust has to be earnt, and once it's lost, it's f***ing hard to get it back. Don't do this to your daughter. Do you really want this to be the cause of some severe issues between you (cos trust me - she will be PI55ED!!!!

DEAL WITH YOUR ISSUES.

Whether shes you daughter or not - its private. My computer is in my front room where my teenage daughter has access to it. I occaisionally check to make sure she is she is not meeting anyone fron msn but apart from that as long as she knows the saftey rules then everythng is fine. Trust her.

Yes it would be very very easy to get her password but simply installing a keystroke logger on her computer. This would run in the background capturing not only her password but anything else she typed.
However as a parent myself it is not something I would do, but its your call

If it's a check for what she's doing, then better ask her her password and make her change it to something else after you have viewed the mails.

Parents should be smart to their and their children's privacy.
