Concentrate on hitting the treble 20, bullseyes and the doubles.

If you are right handed put your right foot fwd.puting most of your weight on the right foot. Ballance with your left. If you are left handed do the opposite.left foot fwd.right foot to ballance. Pick your target. Bring the dart toward your nose bending at the elbow. Then push the dart and release. The most important thing is your stance. To see if you are in the correct stance, Pick a spot on the board ex:( Bullseye) and point your index finger toward the spot you chose. With your arm extended turn your head away for a second or two and look to see if your finger moved. If so move your front foot to the left or right depending on which way your finger moved. Do this until your finger is on target. Good luck have fun. Maybe this info will make it possible for you to turn pro one day.

Now for games you can play the easiest is Crickett. You shoot 3 of each.15 thru 20 and 3 Bullseyes. Another is called 301 you start with 301 then subtract the total of the 3 darts you just threw. You win when you reach 301 not over ex: you need 50 points to go out shoot for 2-20s then a 10 GAME OVER you win you shoot 2-20s and a 11 you subtract nothing and stay at 50 this is called a bust. You may use any combination of numbers to go out. There are other games that are played the same way as 301. 501,601,801. Play with someone else.1st one out wins. You can e-mail me a question any time lonestar007_2000@yahoo.com put Darts in the subject line so i know who it is from, because if i dont recognise the person i just hit Delete.

Well as for the aiming part, you know what they say practice makes perfect.

As for games,
well obviously if there is more than one of you you can play proper darts like 501 or 301, whereby you start with that number and throw the darts and see who can get down to 0 in the fewest darts, obviously remembering that you have to finish with a double number.

If you are on your own (and a good game for practicing) and the only game i know. lol
Is called round the clock.
You throw the darts until you hit the number 1, then aim for the number 2, etc etc until you get all the way round to getting to number 20.
You can play this with others to see who get s there quickest.
But it is a good game for getting practice and improving your aim.
Hope that helps

Pick a spot on the board that you want to hit. Throw three darts at the spot. If your groupings are together but off target, then try the following: Look at a spot off to the other side of the target from where your darts struck and get ready to throw. Then look back at your original target and throw. You will find that with practice, you will automatically move closer and closer to throwing where you sight your spot without the adjustment process.

start at one then work up to 20 then outter bull then bulleyes.3darts your go if you get number 1 in your first dart well done move on to two if you miss two, try again if you miss two again its your mates turn try to be the first getting all the numbers in order.
Bulleye wins the game.
This game helps your aiming.

Read this again and unsure if you even understand it lol
ok there are number one to twenty on dart board then an inner bullseye and bullseye.
You have to start to try hitting number one in 3 darts a go if you miss number one in all throws you pass darts to next person you cannot move on until you hit one when you get one you move on to number 2 and until you hit number 2 you move on to 3 etc the winner is first to hit bullseye having worked around all the numbers.

Aren't darts the little seams that start from the armpit to define the breast? Why would anyone want to make that into a game?

play round the clock.... great way to practice aiming.... start at one, when you get the dart in one, move onto two and so on... dont move on until you hit the number you want.... it will take time you will eventually be able to aim properly.... best of luck

throw lots of them. Its about consistency and momentum. Every throw must be the same. The amount of strength used. Choose your right weight of shaft, your preference. Throw with friends, you will improve. Go to pubs, you might pick up from pointers from the veterans.

Just put up a picture of someone you hate, like Flanders. Then the aim should naturaly come.
