There is democracy in USA considering that everybody can choose what they want to do, wear, hear, eat and everything as long as their acts do not violate laws. Where in the world can you see scantily clad people in public and protesters attacking the president like an ordinary person. In other nations, they will be readily incarcerated and put to jail.

we no longer have a constitutional republic. Our 'president' has repeatedly violated the law. congress, a separate, equal branch of govt., is supposed to hold him accountable. Instead, they allow him to break our laws. America is now a dictatorship. We have several legal mechanisms for correcting this - and even an election in 08, if the election machines properly count the vote.

America is a representative republic that has flourished by the underpinning of freedom. The right to pursue happiness has made this country the envy of many people who think that if you don't agree with them than they should kill the most innocent and defenseless among you.

Yes, we did, and we still do. But the USA is not really a democracy, its a constitutional republic.

democracy is not a successful form of govt anymore. the reason is the most of the people are not intelligent. intelligent people are always in minority. so they will never be elected the president.
