Yes. He's a lying smug faced toe rag and I don't think he can be trusted at all.

Absolutely. In fact, I think it has been time for months, but Tony Blair plays his three monkeys game (see nothing, hear nothing, do nothing) because a change in the office of the Deputy Prime Minister could very easily trigger a call for his own resignation at the same time as Prescott's, in order to give a completely new team a fresh start. This would actually be the best for the Labour Party, but Blair clings to power with his fingernails, very much the lost and drowning man he has become.

Personally, I think the press have it in for the guy and are unrelenting in their campaign against him. He's deputy leader of a political party which was elected to power so is it really that unreasonable that he's the Deputy Prime Minister?

He's probably done more in the role than many of his predecessors, and he's provided us all with plenty of headlines. Personally, I loved the fact that he punched a member of the public following being assaulted. I would have done the same, and it was nice to see that politicians still behave like real people.

If he were to go then I suspect David Miliband would jump for the job of Deputy Prime Minister.

Previous answerer says as long as he gets on with his job its OK. HE HAS NO JOB!

This is a corrupt cabinet minister, who is paid to do nothing except rename his department every two years. Blair needs him for Labour Party purposes only. Get rid of Prescott = get rid of Blair.

In which case, GO PRESCOTT! NOW!

Is it time for Prescott to go? No, it is way overdue.

Yes. Can't believe someone like Prescott has managed to get to Deputy Prime Minister. Say what you like about Blair, you can't say he is as thick as Prescott.

Yes. I don't think I should be paying taxes to help him pass his time - and he's just **** his nest over the American ranch visit versus the Dome, hasn't he!
