They are a bunch of cowardly losers who oppressed their people and were totally ignorant to any form of civilization.
Unfortunately lately they are starting to fight again.I call them cowards cos they attack and then quickly change in civilian clothes and hide near innocent people who then get caught in the horror of a gunfight. They and all their fanatic copy cats should best be destroyed.

Not very much.
And to make this clear: "The Taliban" is not one homogenous and hierarchic organisation. It is in fact a conglomerate of many different groups who share their committment to radical Islam and their hatred for western decadence.
They were "thrown out" of Kabul and a few of the provincial cities in Afghanistan, but they have never lost control over their rural strongholds. They are particularly strong in the mountainous and underdeveloped areas in the south, where Afghanistan borders Pakistan. And one should never forget that it was the Pakistani government under the late military dictator General Zia ul-Haq that started, supported and financed the "Taliban" movement, in order to drive the Soviets out of Afghanistan. The original idea for such an operation, however, came from the USA. Especially the University of Nebraska and a few CIA-financed think tanks came up with a modern version of "Jihad", the Holy War of the Koran, and the USA cofinanced and trained parts of the original "Taliban" when they were fighting the Soviet occupation forces.
But, as so often in modern history, the creatures of the CIA and other shady US organisations have turned sour and now bite the hands that made and fed them.

Im not really happy that they were removed actually. They were doing wonders for their countries until the idiot we all know as bush decided he would invade their lands to follow in daddy's footsteps. Without the US, they would still be doing great!
