Creating a website is simple. Since you are beginner you can start with MS Word. Just create the page as you would normally do in MS Word then go to File>Save as HTML... or File>Save As> in the file name type MyFileName.html and in type select All Files.

Other popular tool is MS Frontpage. It comes with your copy of MS Office as well. The appearance is similar to MS Word except that it is specifically designed for website designing.

Some other popular tools include Adobe (formerly Macromedia) Dreamweaver and the line of CoffeeCup products (incl. Coffeecup HTML Editor)

After you create your website you can upload it using the FTP Upload service in MS Frontpage or WinXP. You will need an FTP-enabled web-hosting for that.

Free webhosting services are available at www.geocities.yahoo.com , www.angelfire.com , www.freewebs.com

You can create www.yourname.tk domain from http://www.dot.tk/en/index.html and redirect it to any of the above webhosting accounts as well.
