Can someone plz help me?
When i try to log into yahoo messenger is get the following error message.
Yahoo messenger.exe corrupt file.
The file or directory/documents and settings/adminirtrator/local settings/temp internet files/content.IE5/ OYHFAQX1 is corrupt clease run the chkdck utility.
I would be really happy if someone could answer please.

that must be an error generated my yahoo mesenger for some cause. unistall Y!messenger and reinstall it from messenger.yahoo.com

It appears that there have been some corrupt temporary files that Yahoo Messenger needs to execute..
documents and settings/adminirtrator/local settings/temp internet files/content.IE5/ OYHFAQX1
is actually the MSIE temporary internet file storage folder.
Also try and clear the IE cache and then try again. Launch Internet Explorer and then go to Tools>Internet Options. Under the General Tab and the Temporary Internet Files section click on the Delete Cookies and Delete Files buttons. And then Restart Yahoo! Messenger.
Try installing the messenger afresh if this does not work.

i suggest you run the chkdsk utility then reinstall yahoo
alternatively, in windows explorer, right click on your hand drive and go to Properties, Tools, Error Checking and run the check from there

I would say something has happened to the file it is in... Try uninstalling it and installing it again... Otherwise sorry I don't know
