The poor quality of health care and welfare for the poor means that you have one of the worst rates of infant mortality in the industrialised world.

The figures below are from your own government

You aren't much better than embargoed Cuba.

Oh and btw, if you think the 4/1000 difference between top and bottom is insignificant, if you add 4 to the US figures you get to countries like Bosnia-H (recently out of civil war)

My question is same as the last:
Does this make you ashamed?

Going around putting people down, any people accomplishes nothing and give a bad impression of the person doing it.

1. You include all Americans in your statement, "... if you don't care about the rest of the world..."

2. "... poor quality of health care and welfare for the poor means that you have one of the worst rates of infant mortality in the industrialised world."

Both statements are wrong, therefore you can not be trusted to make accurate statements.

Statement 1. There are some Americans who are jerks, who care only for their own selves and care nothing for others, but guess what? You will find those same kind of people in your country and in every other country on this planet.

There are many Americans who are kind, compassionate people who care about others regardless of who they are or where they live, just as there are like minded individuals in every country in this world.

Statement 2. You made a statement without facts regarding health care. One set of statistics does not make a research project.

There are many reasons for poor infant mortality rates and poor health care is but one.

It is a wise person who does not waste their time criticizing, but instead works for the betterment of all mankind.

RR I care about all God's children, everywhere. What would you have me do? Start a revolution, overthrow my government, lead the world into a utopia? The United States gives more financial aid to the rest of the world than any other country. We spend too much time and effort helping others. Do you seriously think all American people are encapsulated in your small incomplete biased assessment of our nation? Does the average person have much if any influence over any sort of governmetal process anymore? No, its a machine, run and controlled by the rich and powerful. And the average american gives. The average american gives a lot to charities and the less fortunate. Especially in times of crisis and diaster. Who are you to quote a statistic? If our government (George W. Bush) was fiscally responsible and more interested in running the country than making money for his friends, the U.S. might have more resources available for the poor. National healthcare is on the way whether people see it or not. I work in a hospital with a high population of patients who can't even pay their bills, and health care costs are rising exponentially, everybody wants a piece of the pie. You seem to delight in highlighting other people's woes, (other than misery loves company), what did you hope to accomplish with this incredible insight? (That was sarcasm, in case you missed it) Where is the upside to your poorly formulated, thoughtless, rude, question? Eh?

You have a point about the low quality of health care for the poor in our nation. We are a capitalist system with a government that doesn't see much of a need for national health care. I know that must seem odd coming from a nation that has national health care and a large social welfare program.
Personal responsibility and freedom also mean we have the freedom to starve and die! That seems harsh doesn't it?

not in simple terms that, yet we throw greater of our human beings according to capita in reformatory than the different united states of america. little doubt approximately it, while it includes massive-government police states, our conservatives are much greater advantageous than they declare our liberals. concern is, you won't be in a position to advance themes with the two ideology without being branded a 2d classification citizen at ultimate, a traitor at worst. Watch me get picked aside suited right here in this BBS, and labelled each and every thing considered as contemptible from the two factors. some days we in simple terms won't be in a position to win. What quite scares me is that the severe Christian suited will benefit severe ability right here. Then, in comparison to the ensuing totalitarian theocracy, what's going on right here now will appear as if considered one of your tea events.

Good Morning.. Where are you from, and who p'd in your cornflakes?!?

Why should we be throwing out aid to other countries when we have our own problems...especially since Hurricane Katrina? Shouldn't we take care of some of our own as well?
