How do i know desktop board model number of my computer.?

click start and then run. In the open tab type msinfo32 and then press 'enter key' . The system information window will open now.
In this window the system summary will be displayed. In that your desktop board model number will be displayed against the caption "system model". This would work if u have winxp.
In most cases the model number will be present on the motherboard c.d. itself.
