It is OK to work out everyday if you want to, but just don't work the same muscles as you did the day before. i lift weights and i work out 4 days a week, first i will do my arms then the next day i do legs and then focus on cardio and run about 4 miles. This way the muscle can repair itself, because when you lift you are tearing muscle and it need time to heal. If you are trying to put bulk on i suggest you lift big weight and low reps, but if your trying to be more defined lower weight and high reps will do the trick for you, and above all else remember to breath this is so important and also having good form, i to often see people lifting to much weight with bad form.

well if youre already fit maybe switch it up maybe using body weight for exercises or some stretching. Ive only recomend everday weight lifting for EXTREMELY skinny people to add bulk. If thats not you your body does need a little rest.
