I guess it depends on what the lie was, how bad its consequences were, and if its the 1st time he's done it or not. The Bible says we should forgive 70 times 7. But in my personal opinion I would not forgive the same person for the same thing over and over again, specially if the fact of doing it was hurting me even more, than maybe staying away from that person at least for a short period of time to see if he has any serious intentions of not doing it again. And if I find out that he unfortunately doesnt, then i might accept that person back but keeping in mind that he is just as he is, and I wouldn't totally trust him in the same way or expect much from him either again.

Yes i would. I believe that everyone does wrong things before, including you and me. So even my friend lies to me, I will still give him or her because he or she will always be my friend. Perhaps not a close one but a normal one.. A friend is more better than an ememy. Think about it, I know you will forgive your friend. =)

sure. She fessed as much because it, did no longer she? and because she confessed in her lies, do no longer you think of that's time so which you could tell her approximately your guy or woman? You men will nevertheless be acquaintances. You the two did the comparable factor, mendacity to one yet another with the comparable reason, so I could see why no longer. besides, if she is your terrific chum, she might understand too. solid success.

every wrong has to be forgiven, we are only human.
(it serves you right for pushing him to tell you)
people trying to protect their friends from being hurt sometimes lie to them, also to avoid conflict
You can say "I know you would not usually lie to me" He feels bad about it, too. Make him feel better.
