Wait til you have grown up before you decide. You have to consider that you are bringing another life into the world, this is not a decision about you it is a decision that effects another being. It also involves giving up your life to bring up another, you should actually give yourself the chance to have a life first and to get to the stage where you can provide a stable environment for a child, Wait til you are married, consider before you have it what the child wants and needs to grow up healthy, stable and happy. Don't get caught up in the idea before you have got a clear idea of the reality.

Yeah, Okay!!!
Your 16, and you know just what the world is about. You have a great job (due to your superior education) and you have a house, and vehicle. Now you are set to bring a baby into this world. Lets see.
Facts:
At 16 you have a 10th Grade education at best. From your literaray skills I am guessing that if you are still going to school your grades could use some improvement.
At 16, if you have a job, it is minimum wage or slightly above, and probally no benifits such as health insurance ect...
At 16, you can't sign any legal documents, so no loan to purchase a vehicle, or sign a lease to rent an apartment.
At 16, you don't have a 'credit' history to buy a house, let alone an adiquate savings to use as a down payment.
At 16 you probally don't have any idea how much money the mundane necessary item cost on a monthly basis. Here is an example. Your area may be higher or lower, but this is an example:
Rent 2 bedroom apartment: $450.00 per month
Electric & Gas: $210.00 per month
Cable Basic Service no digital $ 54.00 per month
Water and Sewer $ 19.00 per month
Car Insurance 2 drivers <18 $150.00 per month
Gas for car 1000 miles per month at 20 MPG = 50gal. at $3 per gal $150.00 per month
Food (not baby) $90/wk $270.00 per month
Baby stuff (food, diapers ect) at least $200.00 per month
TOTAL $1,503.00 per month
now the stuff not included you (the female stud) and your girlfriend.
such as clothes and washing of clothes
misc. items like soap, shampoo, make up and other beauty aids
day care for the baby so you can work to pay for things oh, day care is VERY expensive. and that is not even including the babysitter so you can go out and party.
This is not even including the money to party and 'hang out'.
So in conclusion, yup, you and your gf are just like soooooo ready to have a baby!
Suggestion, enjoy being young, enjoy being carefree, there is plenty of time to have a family. A child is a forever commitment. Enjoy freedom. Enjoy discovering who you are and finding your self a place in the world.

I'd probably wait until I got out of high school. It's hard enough growing up gay, add a baby to the equation and it's hell. Get a puppy or something.
