Why do more women cheat?

I mean they were the ones who throughout history whined if men cheated.

And they don't even have a strong sex drive, as they allways remind us if we want some.

First thing - you should not state all women have low sex drives cause not all women are the same. I am quite sure if you took a poll of all the women worldwide you'd find your facts to be false.

Secondly - have you ever thought that maybe when we claim "not to be in the mood" when you guys are sniffin' for sex we just might find your( meaning men) routine in bed boring ?

And as far as women cheating - I think you'd be surprised to see just how many of us gals are faithful. But if some of us do stray - well - if you guys can do it why can't we ?

Lots of cute opinion, but nobody seems to have either researched it or thought it out. Here are the FACTS:

1. The Kinsey report in 1950 showed 26% of women had had extramarital affairs: but over 50% of men had. Similary with the 1987 Hite report, men are more likely to cheat. Sorry, but those are the facts.

2. But if you mean why do more women cheat NOW than before, well, that has a very good reason. Unlike men, whose inborn reproductive strategy is linked to wide dissemination of sperm in nearly every place, women have no similar reproductive advantage. At least not until the strategy of mixed partnering arose: under this strategy, women can shop for better genes and still have the nest feathered by the loyal husband. This, at least, is what gives women the biological impetus to cheat. Even if you dont see the reproductive motive as being the chief impetus driving this, you can see the sense that this makes to female psyche since 1950- women can have more choices and flexibility in partnering than before, and they give up little of their reproductive security by sometimes sleeping out. 3. But, you asked: why do women say one thing about fidelity and practice another? The answer by now should be obvious- the mixed-partnering strategy DEPENDS UPON this duplicity: women really DO believe that fidelity is best- it’s the rock of their reproductive and child raising natures, but they also KNOW that at times, if it can be concealed (or if alimony will be coming), that an extramarital affair will serve their child-bearing desires better. Women feel the stress of this duplicity no doubt, but there it is.

I think you have some misconceptions, there.

I know women whose sex drives way outstrip their husbands'; I was one of them, until I divorced the sexless bastard.

Now, as to why women cheat: probably for the same reasons men do: to reassure themselves that they are still desirable; for affection; for a sense of power and youth. Oh, and for the sex, too.

I tend to believe that it is a 50/50 thing honestly. Women just weren't as open about it as the fellas. Now we just don't care. I mean its a two way street right? If men can do it why can't we.

With exceptions, I think women cheat to fill an emotional void in their life. We men are, for the most part not sensitive to the emotional bonding women need to feel sexually aroused.

sadly because it's a new era women are more and more comfortable doing what men have always done... including cheating. It is not all women however... thank god for that.
