I wear that **** like a badge of honor! Climbing the professional ladder looks like a lot of back stabbing, *** kissing and workaholic behaviour to me. Granted I do show respect to those who show it as well. But I will never take **** from someone for a paycheck. Life is too short to worry about what the Jones' have.

Insult.

In essence they are saying you are unfit for your given profession and stature. By the same accord being called messy, disorganized, annoying, etc. None of these things should be thought of as a badge of honor.

So if I were you, I would examine if I actually was "nonprofessional" to see if this criticism was accurate. If it wasn't I would be angry.

And punch the person in the face. But that's me

Non-professional is not an insult because it just mean that you are not an expert in a certain job or field. For example, I am issued a non-professional driver's license in our country because I am only driving a private car unlike a driver of a bus where he is required a professional driver's license.
Not professional when referring to you in the workplace is the insult because it means that you not ethical.

I think that was meant as an insult unless your work in a non-professional field and they are just refering to that.

nobody has ever called me that, and since I am not entirely sure what it means other than if it meant just what it says then no I wouldn't because I work in a factory and I'm not very professional at all
