Everythng was great at first then I started calling him too much and wanted to see him all the time he said I was being imature and thought I was different, I am 46 he is 32. I really want the friendship back more than anything.

Firstly don't think that you have done a wrong thing. More often it can happen. Just try to sort out the opinion of your friend on this condition. You will automatically feel relaxed.

No poblem with that. You may get attracted to the person you are woking with. Let some time go with your relationship I am sure this relationship will develop if you have good faith and confidence about your relationship.

Tell him that....and stop calling and demanding so much of his time. Seems like perhaps you took it as a sign to go much further than what he was planning for.

try to explain him that now and on, you will not make so stupid actions and he is welcomed every time in your home as a friend, even when he is drunk

BE VERY PATIENT. MAYBE, HE IS FEELING GUILTY AS TO WHAT HAD HAPPENED. GIVE HIM SOME TIME TO THINK. THAT WILL ALSO SUBSIDE. EVERYTHING HAS ITS RIGHT TIMING.
