People say they 'find' love, as if it were an object hidden by a rock. But love takes many forms, and it is never the same for any man and woman. What people find then is a certain love.
Love, like rain, can nourish from above, drenching couples with a soaking joy. But sometimes, under the angry heat of life, love dries on the surface and must nourish from below, tending to its roots, keeping itself alive.
Lost love is still love. It takes a different form, that's all. You can't see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them around a dance floor. But when those senses weaken, another heightens. Memory. Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it.

I think it really depends on the situation.
example:
I think if you had a family with one..then be buried by that one.
For the most part..I think if your first husband/wife dies and you remarry and then you die..I think you should be buried by the first spouse.
This is a subject I had with my mom when she remarried after my dad died. We all agreed that it was correct (for us) that when she dies, she is to be buried by my dad.
Best wishes! It is a tough decision.

Husband died when I was 29. Of course I remarried. His grave is for his corpse. He is somewhere else so where ever I'm buried has no bearing, I'll see him in heaven.
Easier on kids if no one buried side x side.

It always weirded me out a little that my dad got the double headstone with everything but the date of his death already inscribed when Mom died. I think that call should be made late in life, remembering that it really matters mostly to those left to visit. Tough call. Good luck.

Well I want to be cremated... so I dont have that problem.. however... I've always felt it was morbid to think about... but as strongly as I feel about being cremated... the thought of having my daughter cremated (god forbid something ever happened to her) just feels wrong. I would feel that the proper, respectful thing to do would be to bury her... Odd that I have a different choice for her than myself?

no matter where you are buried as the body shall become dust and the soul yeah that is important as you mentioned soulmates then they will surely meet in the Lords mighty presence, but then another marriage is allowed by the Church i suppose

No one could even come close to replacing my wife now or in the future. Should my wife pass away I still will not be alone her memory and her love will be with me for the rest of my life. So I would not have that to worry about

if you remarried was it cuz you felt the same towards him just like u did towards your "soul mate" if so than you should be in the middle and them on each sides!!
But once your dead it doesn't matter where your body is placed your soul is not there any more... bodies will decay over a period of time and in there end there will be nothing left....what counts is whom your soul ends up with!
