Use a product like spray and wash ...really saturate the area and let it sit for 30 minutes before re-washing. Oh and if you actually have gum stuck in your pocket...first put the shorts in the freezer for 30 minutes or so and then pull the gum out before you do the spray and wash thing.

Real men wear pink:D hehe
Uh if you havent put them in the dryer yet, try using Shout..it gets out alot of tough stains..
If you already put it in the dryer, you might as well kiss those shorts good bye or wear a really long shirt to cover up the stain.
Oh yeah, Goop works too

na,na,na,na,na.na. One should never wash their bubble gum.
Stick it under a table.
But, hell, your khakis are the least of your problems.

How you gonna get all that bubble gum out of the washer?

shout works well. also, WD40 works on stains too. I used it on orange crayon that i melted in the dryer on my sons pants.

i sat on a gum once and sticked to my pants. i dabbed a gasoline to it and it sticked off. Baby oil will do the trick too but not as fast. but gasoline can wear off the color, but to my pants, it did not.
