"bestest?" I'd kick him in the jewels...in front of his "boys". That will take the wind out of his sails.

If he "disses" you, why would you allow yourself to be treated in such a way? You must not think much of yourself.

This is not a friend but social chamelon. I had a friend that acted like this before and I stopped hanging out with him. I doubt he will change his behaviour even if you bring it up to him like you did on yahoo answers and I recommend that you don't, because he will probably just goof on you to your face and to his other friends. There are people that are real charismatic and like to have the last word and always leave on a high note. These are sociopaths. They are very outgoing and use different groups of people for different things, but they don't really have friends, they have people to supply them with different things, be it physically or mentally. Just leave this loser to his own f'd up devices and soon he will only have fools and suckers to feed upon.

He obviously has moved on. Shrug your shoulders and move on as well. People change and we don't all change at the same rate or time, which is hurtful, sometimes. The hurt is yours, though, whether it was caused by him intentionally or unintentionally.

Forgiveness is something different. If he apologises, then forgive him. If he is not interested in being forgiven then you can do nothing.

Dear i think that u are totally thinking wrong for him. as he may be not paying attention to you due to his friends.. as you know that if someboday (his friends) teases you in the party infront of him then it might create problem... so i thnk that that's why he ignored you that night ... but the good thing is that he called you again to go out whth you ... so there is no option for foregiving this is only a matter of missunderstanding dear...

There must be a reason behind that. Try to sort it out. I don't think that the band of friendship is so weak to just break, because of some misunderstandings.

Before you go calling it quits for good with your friend, find out why he did what he did. I know that it probably really hurt your feelings but see what he has to say, i mean he owes you an explanation.

you really need to talk to him, because if that's the way he is you shouldn't bhis friend. like you said he was your best friend... best friends don't do that, i think you should get new friends and ignore him, because he did it to use. personally i think he is using you. for the fact that he completely ignored you because he was embarrassed or what so ever. he is wrong. but overall you should tlka to him first, and if he acts like nothing happened.. he is not a good friend.

May be he had compulsions. However, if he had apologised to you, and you still trust him, I believe it is worth giving another chance.

But if it happens again. Say bye bye.
