Do you believe the insanity defense serve a useful function today.

well let them use it. and lock them up in the criminal psych ward. they won't like it at all. it's worse than the regular prisons. lol they'll be screaming to get out. they have no idea what they're getting into. (i used to work for the county m.a.'s office. the psych place was across the street. lol a total circus)

Some people simply aren't mentally competant. That just a fact, and not "anybody's" fault. Certainly, there are stupid decisions. But, on the whole, the insanity defence is valid.

my "insanity" is not a defense it is an offensive tactic that I use to participate fully in a world that has been created by those claiming to be "sane" and yet the world is in total disaray. I just do it to fuction that's all man, that's all.

hell yes. . . if a person is insane then he wont change just by goin to jail. . . . i think in that case he should join a rehab. . .somewhere it does serve as a usefull function till not manipulated. . .

if they r insane they should go 2 jail anyways or else they could do it again i mean come on there insane
