It is reported that he is thinking of holding out on the (Hurricane Ravaged city) of New Orleans for more money, skipping the entire 2006 NFL season, and entering the 2007 Draft so that he can get the money that he wants. Any thoughts?

That's cool. I'd cancel his contract and cut him from the team. Spoiled little brats like that need a dose of reality.

why are the running backs in the league the most trouble. sure the WRs have TO but thats it. RBs have ricky williams, clinton portis and the infamous maurice clarret. i just hope if its true he knows what he is doing and dont end up like maurice. personally i think he is trying to be drafted next year to achieve his goal of being NO. 1 overall draft pick.

It's just the game that players and agents play. They will say the most shocking things that they can think of to install fear into the management of teams to get them to bend. This may be his way of trying to get out of rookie hazing. He will be there for opening kick off.

I think in the end he will play. His holdout will likely be like Cedric Benson's in his rookie year. It might cut into his playing time, so those of you in your fantasy football drafts who see Deuce still around a bit late should take him.

This is what makes footbal suck, these days. Its no longer about the game... its all money. I say New Orleans should encourage him to hold out.
