What do you think?

I am not sure any kind of love or friendship is unconditional. I don't think we, as humans, are even capable of unconditional love.
I would love to think we are, but if you think of different "conditions" it's another story. What if your friend lied about you? started rumours about you? stole your man? stole from you? etc...

Think of the deepest betrayal possible, and put your friend in that situation. Most people think "my friend would never do that". But it happens. I was best friends with a girl for 12 years when she did something unforgivable to me. I may still care what happens to her, but it would be dangerous to be her friend.

It depends on the friendship. It would be very rare indeed to find a friendship - love - which is truly unconditional, that is, one that nothing could ever destroy.

I know of only one that I can be completely sure about in my life.

Absolutely yes, if it is true friendship it has to be, for it is the same as true love. In both cases assuming that both are unselfish forms of friendship and love, it is more gratifing to give than to receive, in fact we are ready to make great sacrifices to preserve them both, without even thinking of the moral or material costs involved, or even expecting something in return exept the desire to protect them at all costs and to preserve their inestimable value to us, thus qualifing them as unconditional. But if they are unable to develope this noble feelings, then they lack the intensity and the deepness to be considered unconditional.

NO... most people today do not know how to love or give unconditional friendship. Emotions today are self-serving and not based on the deep foundation of the "giving" mode... Love and Friendship is though of today as ..."What can I GET." Whereas, love is really only a GIVING emotion. Love is given freely, without expecting ANYTHING back... otherwise it is BARTERed LOVE = "you give to me love/friendship first before I return love /friendship back to you and if you don't give... you don't get!!!" That is the sick attitude of love and friendship today... which is too bad... because we really lose when we love or base our friendship on that level. That is bartered love!!! That is what I see in the youth of today... and it is sad that there is no place to learn how to really base a lasting relationship on the right way to LOVE... it is not based on sex... True love is based on giving... and it is also based on respect, trust and love...

Not for everybody. Like all your fingers are not the same size, all the people around you are also not like you are the same. It may be unconditonal for you but conditional for somebody.

But true friendship is unconditional, which develops with time.

Friendship should be unconditional. You should do everything you can to support and love your friends

It's not mariage. Friends can either be spandex or cotton. Your spandex friend will stretch and grow with you, but your cotton friend will shrink in the wash. That's why they invented places like Good Will. Sometimes you outgrow your clothes, it's no ones fault and it doesn't mean that no one will ever want those clothes again. Does that help?

No. Friends use each other- that's what they are for. When you move... you ask your friends with trucks to help you...when your car breaks down, you ask a friend who is a mechanic to help you...when your friend needs a babysitter and they ask you to help, you do ....That's what friends are for...LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL...

Yes it is..
But depends on U really think is it unconditional.
Cuz if U think that U are doing her a favour and expect her to return.. It is quite disappointing.
Just take it easy...
