What reason do they have for keeping the files a secret after all this time?

maybe the government is picking a right time or they do not want the public to help them or even believe that there is a true alien in space.

IF they do have any alien vehicles or bodies, then that technology can ve used on our enemies. Imagine if the stealth bomber would never be created, how different the sub-sequential wars would have been fought if not for our "Invisible planes" taking out their communication and radar towers first.
It is highly likely IF there is something, some other nation has some secrets too. Will they give up their info so willingly???

Because once they come clean over the alien fighter-craft in Area 51, who really killed JFK, how they faked the moon landing....
They also have to come clean over the Rathergate memo, the Downing Street Memos, the World Peace Tribunal, what alien race was really flying the planes on 9/11, Shadow-Men, and chem-trails.
