and not just cause there are gays in it cause it is a good love story and it is really sad!

It was overrated in my opinon. Heath Ledger's acting was kinda wooden. Jake Gyllenhall did a better job at portraying the angst a person can feel when they cannot be near the person they love.

I really liked it for a bunch of reasons. Partly because I'm from Texas, and the characters were so realistic, that I've known people who act/talk/look just like Jake Gylenhaal's character.

i really loved that movie. and Jake lilaghole. played a good roll. soryy i dont know how to spell Jakes last name.

True to life, especially for many individuals.
I wouldn't call it a "great" movie though.
