It's because in days of slavery, black people who were large in size were force bred to grow a large strong group of cotton pickers, laborers, tractor pullers, etc. The small ones were not allowed to reproduce and died off.

It's not just "black americans". The over all stereotype is that if you are from black, african,caribean whatever descent that you might have a big giant penis. I am sure that "white americans" aren't the only ones who can't size up to that stereotype I am sure "white" europeans, even white south africans can't as well. It is just a stereotype. That should answer your penis curiosity...
