What is your bestfriend like? And what are you like? I wanted to know if opposite really attract each other.. Because me and my bestfriend is really opposite in terms of our attitudes..But we have the same interests sometimes....

Best friends are usually people we have spent a lot of time with and have shared experiences with and therefore know and understand eachother. To answer your real question, yes opposites attract so do simulaties. There are many factors that go into our realationships, its a hugely complex dynamic the key seems to be in understanding and excepting the actions of others and finding them to be loved anyway.
A good friend will bail you out of jail.
A real friend will be in jail with you.

We are both avid answerers here. And he's about the same age as me. We have a lot in common, but he lives in the midwest and I live in California, so we've never met. And being of opposite genders makes a difference too.

Excellent question! My best friend and I are almost direct opposites...and yet we support each other through our triumphs, we grieve together...we share thoughts and ideas...we can discuss almost anything...we support each other in our decisions...we laugh together...and we are able to allow the other to be who they truly are. This alone is priceless.
We learn together, and share knowledge...and we seem to enhance our learning experiences for each other. She contains a very earthy wisdom...while I am more cerebral...and for whatever reason..."We click." We accept each other completely...and we are honest about it. We chew each other out when it becomes necessary...and we truly celebrate our individual achievements together. She is the first person I think of when when I need a sounding board. We seem to inspire each other...and often provide the motivation we need to seek out our individual pursuits, through encouragement.
We will know each other through a life-time of trials and errors, children and family, and our personal relationships. Every one should have a friend such as I. She has blessed my life immeasurably. Thank you...for you have permitted me to put words to something truly wonderful that I can now send to her.

My best friend and I both have short hair, glasses, and big smiles.
We both like the same types of guys, music, and movies.
We both make our own clothes, go to concerts, and we were even in the same section in Choir together in high school.
I'm thinking of getting my monroe pierced, and she has a Marilyn Monroe-like mole above her lip.
We joke that Bob Ross is our father and that we are half sisters.
We're inseperatable.
We have the same views on god and religion.
We finish each other sentences.
We're totally alike, haha.

M;y best friend and I are totally opposite in everything. The way we dress, things we do, the way we think but we are still best friends. We can give each other different insight on things because we think so differently. I would not change her for anything.
