brown is a good bet for anyone (that is what i use)... i apply it first to the crease of my eye and then blend down and up just a little. then, i add a very light, porcelain color to just under the eyebrow (only a tiny bit). i also sometimes blend a little light/golden brown right above the crease

sometimes its good to apply with fingers and an eyeshadow applicator. Then taking that and start from your inner eye and outwards lining with the crease in your eye it works try it, it works for me but it might be different for you. Some brands is L'oreal H.I.P. its a duo so its really gives you that pop and then theirs Max Factor they have three eyeshadow colors to put on that Good also try jus play around with different ones to see which ones fit YOU GurL!

you want to start off basic apply lightest color over entire eyelid. med color goes on half of eyelid and the darkest goes on the area that does not fold up when your eye is open. the next thing would be to slightly blend in the lines between each color.

It depends on the shape of your eyes. I suggest MAC eyeshadows.
