I am using XP Pro SP2 operating system. Earlier I could open my picture files in My document folder by right clicking on it & selecting 'open with' & scroll to 'internet explorer'. But now I don't find the scroll next to 'open with' but a pop up opens to 'choose program' in which I want to open the file. In that list of 'choose programs' there are photoshop, corel, notepad etc. but I can't find 'internet explorer'. I want each picture file to open in its own window, as I have to compare few images. At present all picture files are opening in 'window picture & fax viewer'.
Can you please suggest how I can open each picture in its own window ?
Thanks.

yes you can do that, you can open pictures with 'My Computer' try doing this:

1. Go to Start > Control Panel (and switch it to Classic View)

2. On the Control Panel window click on the Folder Options

3. Once the Folder Option had opened, click on the 'File Types' tab

4. On the File Types tab, you will see a list of file extensions and
start looking for the .JPEG, .JPE, .JPG, .JFIF.

5. Once found, select it and click the change button, click the
browse button and navigate to C:\Windows and look for
explorer.exe and click ok. go back to the previous windows
click apply and ok

Now your jpg files will now open on seperate windows. enjoy!
