To people who haven't been in love, it may seem a bit extreme, but in general that is how people feel when they love someone. Much like in White Chicks when Karen tells Tiff and Brit "come you guys, don't act like you haven't done it before. You call them all day just to see how they're day is going... what they're thinking about, and if they're thinking of you." It's good to hear that sort of expression comming from a man instead of a woman.
