1) Always look on the bright side of life - Monty Python
2) In my Life - The Beatles
3) The Circle of Life (very appropriate lyrics)...and I would want a gospel choir singing it....
From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking, step into the sun
There's more to be seen than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done
Some say eat or be eaten
Some say live and let live
But all are agreed as they join the stampede
You should never take more than you give
In the circle of life
It's the wheel of fortune
It's the leap of faith
It's the band of hope
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the circle, the circle of life
Some of us fall by the wayside
And some of us soar to the stars
And some of us sail through our troubles
And some have to live with the scars
There's far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round

I cant beleve that no one has gone for " Dont Fear The Reaper " by the Blue Oyster Cult. Or "Smoke Gets in your Eyes" for the Humorists amongst us. I did notice someone had allready taken Elvis " Burning Love " - should have got that one in quicker.
There is a lot of Floyd (Good) and Blunt (BAD!) going on in there. Anyhow check these three out.
1. Curtis Mayfield - "MOVE ON UP"
2. Green Day - "TIME OF YOUR LIFE"
3. Johnny Cash - "HURT"
These are already in my will. It is not a morbid or merose subject infact it is one that everyone should consider, especially as an organist in a Church will cost you at least 150.00. So Start thinking people, play your own music = more money in the bar !.

Good question. I think I would probably choose Comfortably Numb as well. Other choices would be Sounds of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel...fantastic lyrics. Desparado by the Eagles is another good choice....I have noticed that people have already chosen these songs before. I do like Angie by the Rolling Stones but I don't think it would have much relevance to me! Oh, and another one which I think would be more relevant ...Shine On, You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-IX) by Pink Floyd.

Your song (Garth Brooks)
Don't worry be happy (monty python fella)
If tomorrow never comes (Garth Brooks)
I would hopefully be standing next to my Mom (in heaven already) right by my hubbie (6 years younger than me) and my 2 sons and hopefully their wives and kids. They are teenagers now so hopefully i'll have time to see them settled in their lives.
I wouldn't want the vicar to keep on about how good i was and all that jazz, just a few simple words to say goodbye. And maybe say: Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I am the birds the trees etc.etc. etc.
