You should do, particularly if you owe me money!

Yes; and people do it all the time. As you may know it is an expression which means that you use the money (or other item) from one source to pay off (settle) another. Sometimes it is a good idea; rarely does it actually involve theft. e.g. Owe 2 people money and have regular payments; by not paying the one with the lower interest but paying off the one with higher interest, 'stealing from Peter to pay Paul' can be the optimum strategy.

Well actually Peter and Paul got married as a gay couple in May of this year and now share a joint bank account. Therefore if you stole of pete and paid paul then barclays fraud protection would be on your back very quickly. So no I think. lol

No, theft is a hideous thing. Imagine how awful you'd feel if someone took something from you. It may have been incredibly hard-earned, or have sentimental value. In the case of money, you may have needed it for something, and someone took it from you. I understand desperation makes people do terrible things, but I despise thieves. You should never allow yourself to get into a situation where this migth be your only option, and if it's not your only option you should try every other first.

I wouldn't steal from anybody. I have and would however wait to pay a bill in order to buy food and stuff like that. It's just juggling.
