Since this year, my laptop had this log in problem. I wish to see my user account when Log on, and i did tick "Use the Welcome screen" & "Use fast user switching", but yet the user account never shown during log on and it automatically shows the words"Welcome" and log on directly.
I have no idea what is the problem, i tried so many ways but still no use.
Any1 can help me on this? Thanks so much!

I do an account.. I set it long time ago. Lol, it still can be shown on the welcome screen last yr

Click on Start>Control Panel>User Accounts>(Your Name)Computer administrator>Creat a password
After restart u will see ur name and a password box!

well first of all you more than likely don't have any accounts set up. so go into your user setting and make yourself an account. then you can do the log in.

> Click on "Control Panel"
> Click on "User Accounts"
> Select "Change the way users log on or off"
> Put a check mark next to "Use the Welcome screen"
> Click on "Apply Options"
> Done!
