Rule for answering.

1. Keep it clean, no obscenities.

2. Make a statement about one then about the other. E.g., “Hez active on southern border. So is MM.” If the statement applies to both (as the above does) then it’s OK to say “Both active on their southern border”. Setting up columns is OK if you can figure it out.

3. Back your answers up with reliable sources. Your cousin isn’t a reliable source unless she has special KNOWLEDGE of the subject (e.g., member of US Border Patrol or UN Peace keepers). Obvious bias (overlooking or exaggerating faults) may get you disqualified.

4. Spelling and grammar count.

I will judge the answers as fairly as I can. So, take your best shot. And no, this is NOT a homework assignment.

So far "Song" is in the lead. I especially liked the "lawn chairs" part.

Hezbollah is not composed of a bunch of old white guys with radios and lawn chairs.

The Minutemen and Hezbollah both hang out in godforsaken stretches of desert for political causes.

Most of Hezbollah and the Minutemen's actions are motivated by racial, cultural and economic tensions.

Both Hezbollah and the Minutmen are often characterized as violent and extreme. Both do in fact have members who are militant extremists.

Hezbollah has a nasty habit of blowing people up. The Minutemen have a rather boring habit of watching people walk by and reporting it.

The Minutemen do not like illegal (or "undocumented") immigration from a neighboring country; Hezbollah does not recognize their neighboring country's right to exist.

Both Hezbollah and the Minutemen are involved in disputes between native populations and 'illegal immigrants.'

The lands at the center of disputes involving the Minutemen and Hezbollah have changed hands in the past at least once between the current native populations and the 'illegal immigrants.'

The Minutemen and Hezbollah both supplement civil services in their respective home countries. The Minutemen do it because the U.S. Border Patrol is undermanned and underfunded for its mission; Hezbollah does it because the government(s) of their home country(ies) are too hopelessly corrupt to provide social services to their people.

Hezbollah and Minutemen both are working on the southern border, but the Minutemen don't sneak across and capture Mexican soldiers, and don't fire missiles into Mexico, and are not committed to wiping Mexico off the face of the Earth. Also, the Minutemen are not sponsored and supplied by other countries.

MM on the border are trying to keep people out, they didn't kidnap any Mexicans.

Hezbollah kidnapped Israeli soldiers, in essence they invited Israel into Lebanon.

Mexicans that cross the border are trying to better their lives, and MM just want them to enter the country legally.

Hezbollah crosses the border to hurt others lives, and Israelis don't want them there.

Hezbollah legally has no business in Israel.

MM are on their side of the border, enforcing laws that the government is not.

Well, the Minutemen aren't firing rockets at Mexico and Mexico isn't bombing the Southwest.

Hezbollah is the party of god and gets Iranian support, while the Minutemen consists of upset yahoos taking the law into their own hands.

The differences are just too vast.
