Israel left Lebanon 6 yrs ago as a gesture of peace. Hezballah has been firing rockets into northen Israel ever since and have stockpiled weapons and dug in during that 6yrs. Hezballah has stated they want to wipe Israel off the map and are supported by Iran and Syria wiht money and mostly weapons the rockets being fire by Hezballah are Iranian made. Lebanon has stood by and allowed this build up of arms. Israel has hit bridges and roads and the airport to block more arms and troops from coming to the aid of Hezballah from Syria and Iran and to hinder Hezballah from running away to Syria. If the Palestinians want to destroy Israel I think she has a right to defend her self.What would you do or say if it was Cuba firing rockets into Miami and southern Florida would you question our response? Palestinian mothers have to stop letting their sons join groups like Hamas and Hezballah. And quit sending their children to be suicide bombers. If they would stop seeking revenge for every incident then the fighting could stop. But the Palestinians have been teaching lies to their children for too many years so long in fact that the school books don't show Israel on any maps.

Because the Lebanese failed to control Hezbollah on the southern border of Israel. Do people think that Israel was just going to stand by and let Hezbollah launch hundred of mis-guided missles into their country and do nothing.
