Frankfurt or Munich?

Planning a three day stop in either Frankfurt or Munich, which city is more interesting for tourists? thanks

I used to live in München....great place ! Go to "Schwabing" (a part of Munich) that's where all the clubs are. Also artists, hippies, cool shops and coffeehouses. If you get a chance also try to go to Oberammergau and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. These little towns are about 2 hours away, in the Bavarian Alps, and they are gorgeous and "typical" as far as Americans picturing Bavaria. Also, the "Marienplatz" downtown Munich is worth visiting. But, wherever you choose to go, just enjoy and take it all in. It's ALL new, so who cares where you at, right ? Have a wonderful trip !!!!!

Munich. More things to see and do. More tourist attractions, the people are friendlier, etc. Frankfurt resembles American cities. Munich is more original German city. Definitively Munich is a better choice. Plus most people who fly to Frankfurt, have layover. For very few people Frankfurt is their final destination.

Frankfurt! I stayed there for one week and I LOVED it. I went to Munich also and I got very bored there. From Frankfurt there are ALOT of little day trips you can do. I went to Rotenburg and Winterburg. Love Frankfurt! Frankfurt is great because there is a suburban part of the city and a city part of the city :P

In the center of Frankfurt's Old Town you will find a place well valuable, the Römerberg.The Römerberg can be an irregularly shaped square with the Justice Fountain at their center. Not only can it be Frankfurt's many picturesque community square, it's the city's busiest pedestrian region, home to numerous tourist attractions from its many Kulturschirn (a kind of open-fronted store after common through the old town) to the Römer, a complex of 11 wonderful previous houses from the 15th to 18th centuries that include the Old Town Hall with its Imperial Hall, when the world of marvelous banquets. Different notable structures include the New Town Hall, the 14th-century Gothic Church of St. Leonhard, and St. Nicholas Church, significant because of its carillon.

Munich ...anyday....Frankfurt is more commercialised ...although it has some historical buildings.....Munich is much more fun and better for tourists.... the culture in the city is vibrant and so is the nightlife....its much more beautiful than frankfurt....and also...if u have 3 days .....you can also spend 1 day to go to the Bavarian country side ...it'll be an experience you will not forget....dont miss the Allianz arena at night in Munich ....it looks fabulous when lit up.

For american people i guess munich, cuz Frankfurt is similar to american cities.
In Munich there is more culture and with friends more funny...

Munich is really a big city with: restaurant, nightlife and accommodation results, with hotelbye , you can have a look. Munich is the capital town of Bavaria and the third-most populous town in Germany. For ages the seat of the Dukes, Electors, and Kings of Bavaria, the Munich Residenz is without a doubt certainly one of Europe's most spectacular palaces. Organized about eight big courts, the great resident complex comprises three principal portions: the Königsbau, fronting in to Max-Joseph-Platz; the Alte Residenz, experiencing Residenzstrasse; and the Festsaalbau (Banqueting Hall) overlooking the Hofgarten. The very first area with this huge complex to be created was the spectacular Antiquarium, built in 1579 and now area of the excellent Residenz Museum. Munich is really a town with plenty of record, make sure to investigate it whole.

I also would go with Munich.
since you think about spending a few days there - you can consider a trip to the neuschwanstein castle or just a hiking trip in the alps, since those are a lot closer to Munich than Frankfurt
