Plan Ur trip. Firstly go to Goa in August. Stay there for four days (not more than that, U will start getting bored) Go to the beaches and the corundum beaches there. The best accommodation there would be Bone appetite in Corundum. It is just next to the beach and there is lots to do there. Wind sailing, para driving etc etc. Ppl will advice u to go to Alida Rita Santa Rita but do not go there. Then travel to Kerela and stay in the Suchans group of Hotels there if u need a place just to keep Ur luggage or go to Taj or any of the hotels of the equal level. If u belong to a foreign country try staying away from the locals there.

Try something in mountains. There is a good place in Patni near Vaishno Devi. I have heard a lot about it and it is not very expensive as well.
