The closest planet to the Sun is Mercury and then Venus. If you want to remember the order of the planets try to remember this "My Very Educated Mom Just Saved Us Nine Pizzas" . Each capital letter represents the 9 planets.

the gap b/w the earth and the solar is about ninety 3 million miles...... The length of the three hundred and sixty 5 days will i imagine get 2/3 circumstances if the gap between the earth and the solar receives doubled because the speed of the earth receives slower because the solar should not be able 2 charm to earth with that gravity because it does now. therefore the speed of mercury is the optimal of that of all the planets. And wish you at the prompt are not planning to have a visit to solar those vacation journeys........ in case you benefit this i'd such as you to percentage your marvellous reviews with me.

Long ago it was believed there was Vulcanus or Volcanos very near to the sun. This inner planet was never re-found.
