Yes! The worst ones are "What are you fυcking stupid"?, "You must be really young", and other insults like that. And I asked a question "Would u IM me"? and this dumb-*** girl reported me just simply because I asked it. It was so unfair. I just asked it because I wanted to know who would respond to it and because I was kinda bored. There was no need to report me for it. So offended as I was by her, I went ahead and reported her because of it. And she also "assumed" that I was a minor. Well, I'm not, and just because you ask that, doesn't mean you're a minor. There plenty of other people that have asked that question too. Whether you want to IM someone or not, it shouldn't be anybody else's business. Besides, if you want, your IM shows up on your Q and A page. There's nothing wrong with IMing someone just as long as you don't give any personal info. It offends me that if you ask a question, and some people answer back with something just rude and insulting. And it offends me if someone answers a question assuming something like "You must be really young". I only get rude and insulting in my answers if the person that asked the question is asking to be rude and annoying and a total smart-***. But if I can tell that they are asking because they need to know, then I answer it honestly and try to be helpful as I can. But it annoys me that some people that answer the questions just post smart-*** remarks when the person that posted the question just wants a honest and helpful opinion and didn't ask for all the negativity and rudeness because some people just want to be jerks and assholes because they think the question was stupid. And I'm getting offended by some of the people that are impersonating Edna because it's rude and cruel, and it's immature and they're so stupid and plus, they think it's so funny to do that to someone.

Some of the questions on here are just vile. The worst one that I have seen on there is one by a fella that claimed he is 20 and likes to have sex with girls as young as 12 on one question, and a few questions later the same fella said he had gotten his 12 year old sister pregnant...both were relayed in a very vulgar manner. I truly hope it is just an attention junkie seeking shock value and that there is no truth to it. I am glad that my 12 year old did not read this.

The question that upset my 12 year old the most was one that was really obscene, and could be legitimate in some cultures; how to prepare a dog to be eaten for food. The tacky part is it was not listed under Dining, it was under Dogs.

I've not gotten any offensive answers. I've seen many that sounded terrible. However, someone got mad at me because I told them they needed to speak English on English speaking Yahoo, another person said they would turn them in. I didn't threaten that.

I got 4 or 5 absolutely nasty incoherent e-mails that called me every name in the book and tried to tell me what a terrible person I was and it was people like me that started wars, etc. They had more power than I could even think of. It was ridiculous. I think it was a very paranoid person. I try not to offend anyone. I've seen answers where they call people every name in the book and make fun of them.

If you ask questions here, you've got to realize some people are going to be rude and criticize you though. You ask opinions, people have many opinions. You need to not ask them or accept them and not act like a total idiot when someone disagrees with you. That's what free speach is all about.

I've gotten a few rude comments but it's just human nature to be like that whether you plan to or not, and I'm pretty sure everyone here has done it at one point or another cause I have too done it myself. At first I wasn't too pleased about it, but later I got used to it and it doesn't bother me at all because that person making rude remarks do not know who I really am AND has really nothing much better to do than keep harassing, and it's quite obvious they are looking for some great attention. It would be a great waste of my time to even think about writing something cruel back to them, it's no point because you will get absolutely nothing out of it.

No as if its a possible offending question Ive asked then i would have tried to phrase it in a non offensive way and apologize along with the question for any possible offense, i don't think Ive ever felt offended by an answer Ive received to any of my questions. x

Maybe, but I don't think there should be a report option. Whether someone gets offended or not people have the right to express whatever they want to. America is so concerned someone is going to get offended that slowly our very rights to freedom of speech are dwindling away.

I asked about a uterine ablation and some woman went off on me about having an abortion-didn't have an abortion-never been pregnant in my life. People can be so ignorant. But it goes with the territory-we DO ask for other's opinions so we invite the bad with the good.
